I know where you’re coming from.
I know how hard it is to ask for help. To even admit to yourself that you need it. You’re scared of losing everything. You just don’t see how they could ever forgive you. You’ve gotten this far. I can help you the rest of the way.
I’m a veteran myself. I’ve dedicated myself to creating a therapy practice that is founded in the Marine Corps principles of Honor, Courage, and Commitment.
My goal is to create an environment that is comfortable for you as a vet. None of my seats have their back to a door. You can swear and use dark humor (I will, too). You can come as you are – there’s no dress code. I’m usually in jeans, myself.
I don’t expect you to spill your guts as soon as you walk into the room.
First, I’ll get you acquainted with the process of therapy, so you always know what to expect. Then we’ll look at some options for assessment (you’ll choose which one you want to do). We’ll set some goals and look at some helpful ways to reach those goals.
After that, we’ll explore a few things like your environment, your perceptions, patterns of behavior, and the meaning behind those behaviors. You’ll build some skill with regulating your emotions and thoughts.
After that’s done, we’ll get into resolving your situation. Then we’ll review the process and get you solid with all the strength you built. The whole time, we’ll be looking at how your military training and experiences have informed the situation you’re in now.
Take a chance; let me help you.
If you’re still wondering what the hell you’re doing looking at this Website (congratulations on reading this far), give me a call. We can chat about what you’re looking for and how I can help you specifically.
